When CAPREIT asked Kalum to recommend a piece that would fit the space's vision, and he chose “Warriors Dream.” This artwork reflects a significant life transition, where a person moves from childhood into adulthood. In many Indigenous cultures, this change is marked by ceremonies celebrating the individual’s unique talents. Kalum Teke Dan’s painting portrays this journey, showing a young person guided by a golden eagle—representing their spirit animal—toward their future.
